Preliminary Incident Report - Cloudflare Global Network Outage
Resolved - On the 18th of November 2025, our cyber security partner Cloudflare started to experience severe technical issues. Several major organizations were affected by this global network outage, including X (Twitter), OpenAI, Spotify, Amazon, Uber, IKEA, YouTube, Facebook, Microsoft, and millions of other websites.
The outage was first detected by Estatebud monitoring systems at 11:33 UTC, notifying our engineers about a potential disruption. Estatebud engineers quickly identified an issue located at our cyber security partner, Cloudflare, and escalated the case to Cloudflare's engineering team at 11:44 UTC according to established recovery procedures.
Cloudflare began investigating the issue at 11:48 UTC, and reported a signs of service recovery at 12:21 UTC. According to Estatebud monitoring systems, Cloudflare continued to experience severe technical issues, affecting millions of websites.
The outage affected Estatebud workspaces, public-facing APIs and support chat. The majority of customer websites were not impacted by the outage, with exception of functionality provided by the Estatebud API.
As services are being restored to normal operation, we will reach out to Cloudflare in order to understand what happened, and make sure protocols are implemented where necessary to prevent similar incidents in the future. We will post a complete incident report once the necessary details have been gathered.
